All eyes on K-Walk 2011

I told you Oh, So Chocolate was going bilingual! Here is my first write-up in English. Let's talk about K-Walk! Kreyann, the chic ready-to-wear clothing brand is celebrating its tenth anniversary today (November 04). For this only-to-happen-once event, Anna Ngann Yonn, the founder of the brand offers an amazing fashion show to Cameroonian fashionistas: K-Walk 2011.

Kreyann teamed up with the renowned South-african producer, Jan Malan. He has been the founder and CEO of Umzingeli productions, the most famous African productions company for twenty-five years. Jan Malan was involved in brilliant fashion events in Africa and abroad like the Arise African Collective at New York Fashion Week and the M-Net Face of Africa, just to name few.

K-Walk 2011 is touted to transform the fashion industry and the fashion shows in Cameroon. The event is described on its Facebook page as a surprises box and a (not-to-miss) rendez-vous for fashions victims.

Unfortunately, i won't attend the event but if some of you guys will be enjoying the show tonight, feel free to make some jalous here with the full report of the evening.

Kreyann présente K-Walk...

Je sais, j'aurai pu vous en parler un peu plus tôt mais mieux vaut tard que jamais! Aujourd'hui (04 Novembre 2011) est un grand jour pour la mode camerounaise. C'est celui où Kreyann offrit aux fashionistas de l'Afrique en miniature, le plus incroyable fashion show qu'il leur ait été donné de voir, à l'occasion ses dix ans. Petite présentation

Vous connaissez sans doute Kreyann, la marque de prêt-à-porter chic d'Anna Ngann Yonn, mais connaissez-vous Jan Malan? c'est un producteur sud-africain, dirigeant de l’une des meilleures et des plus célèbres sociétés de production africaines, Umzingeli Productions.  Kreyann s'est associé à lui pour mettre sur pied K-Walk afin de fêter dignement son dixième anniversaire.

Depuis plus de vingt-cinq ans, Jan Malan produit, dirige et  chorégraphie les plus grands spectacles de mode, concerts de musique, cérémonie de récompenses en Afrique et dans le monde, à l’instar de l’Arise African Collective à la  New York Fashion Week  ou encore de Mnet Face of Africa. 

Quand on vous dit que K-Walk , c'est de la bombe... 

L'évènement est d'ailleurs décrit sur sa page Facebook comme une boîte à surprise et un rendez-vous (à ne pas manquer) pour tous les passionnés de mode.

Malheureusement, je n'y serai pas (sic!) mais si une ou plusieurs d'entre vous ont la chance d'assister au spectacle, qu'elles n'hésitent pas à faire des jaloux en nous faisant un compte rendu coloré de moult détails!
